The Poetic Linguistic changes in La realidad y el deseo from Como quien espera el alba on can be explained not only by Cernuda's interest in English Poetry, but also, above all, in his revision of Spanish Poetry made as a consequence of his teaching expirience in England. After reading Campoamor's Theory on Poetic Language, Cernuda tried to define a Lyrical and Theoretical Tradition in order to recognize his own work within a particular Spanish Literary Tradition.
