In this paper, we will analyze the preserved testimonies of the apocryphal Guzmán in order to fix the bases to elaborate a critical edition of this piece, which has been edited just from the testimonies of Barcelona's (1602) and Brussels' (1604) editions. Finally, we will propose a stemma codicum that allows us to reconstruct the original.
