Pez en la tierra is the only book published by Margarita Ferreras, a small piece of erotic and avantgarde poetry that saw light in 1932, thanks to Concha Méndez and Manuel Altolaguirre’s printing shop. In addition approaching the life of this unknown author, in this paper we study how the poetic imagery behaves in her poems, following the reading methodology developed by Gaston Bachelard, which focuses his analysis on the four elements: water, air, fire and earth.
